Orchestra Scholarships Available

There are two opportunities for SCSS Orchestra Students to earn a Scholarship for College.

The SCSS Performing Arts Department provides one $1,000 scholarship each year to a student in any of the Performing Arts. Students cannot apply for these scholarships… they are based solely on teacher recommendation, and are based on the student’s contributions to the overall Performing Arts program at SCSS. Participation in multiple programs is a plus. Financial need is not considered. These scholarships are presented at the Senior Awards Ceremony in June.

The Orchestra Booster Club provides one $750 scholarship each year. This is also a merit scholarship and is not based on financial need. Students may obtain an application form from the Career office. The completed form and other required information must be submitted to the Career office no later than April 30, 2010.
